I was talking to my sister, Nancy, the other morning and while we were discussing the trip she suggested Norway. I really had never thought about traveling to Norway, but earlier that very same day I was chatting with my friend Ethan over tacos about his trip to guess where, Norway! Then I saw this picture:

I needed little convincing at this point. So here is the itinerary:
Paris to Oslo, may 15. I'll have two full days here until a night train on the 17th will take me to Stavanger. Pulpit Rock is the main attraction here, so I pray my shoes hold up! Then I'll take a ferry to Bergen and try to see as many crevasses of the fjords as absolutely possible before I spend the entire 20th on a train to Copenhagen!

The next concrete travel date is may 29th because I found an 8 euro ticket from Milan to Thessaloniki- if you say so Ryanair! So I have to make it from Copenhagen to Milan in 9 days. Oh dear, all I can do is try. En route city list: Berlin, Prague, and Vienna. On the 28th I'll take a train to Milan, then straight to Greece!
Now as far as June is concerned, I really don't know where I am going yet. I want to spend at least one week in Greece, then maybe two weeks in Italy. With any luck I will still have one eurail travel day to get me back to Paris on June 28! Then fly home on the 29th. Sounds like such an end? Only until the road trip to Portland, Oregon begins!
